4-H Horse Camp

The Northern Virginia 4-H Center is hosting a 4-H Horse Camp on August 8-10 at the NOVA 4-H Center in Front Royal.  You can bring your own horse to the center and enjoy a weekend of camping.  The camp is for any level of riding experience for youth ages 9-14.  You do not have to be a registered 4-H member to participate in the camp.
The camp consists of: hands on activities with your horse, fun group lessons in Western and English riding instruction, educational presentations, games and horsemanship education, and TONS of riding!
The camp price is $170 if you register by June 1, or $190 for registration after that date.  Registration includes: stabling in a 44-stall historic cavalry barn, swimming, canoeing, and campfires, and all meals and lodging are included.
For more information, contact Cindy Puryear at cpuryear@vt.edu.  Registration materials will be available online at the 4-H Center Website at: : http://www.nova4h.com/horse-camp/
