4-H Horse Project Members Collecting Winter Coats for Those in Need

Even though we're sweating in the heat of summer right now, this weather won't last forever. In preparation for winter, and the Virginia State 4-H Horse Show, local 4-H horse clubs are collecting winter coats for the needy. Statewide, Virginia 4-H horse project members hope to collect enough winter coats to fill a horse trailer! To be successful, they'll need your help! Please look through your closets and consider donating any coats that you may be able to spare. Bring them to the Extension Office prior to September 14th, and we'll make sure they get transported to Lexington to the horse show. Donated coats will be distributed through the "One Warm Coat" service project.
