Achievement Night Winners Recapped

Congratulations to our Achievement Night winners, and thanks to those who joined us this afternoon. The Harry T. Peters, Jr. Award was given to Ashleigh Ramey of the 4-H HoofMates Club. Ashleigh is a 4-H All Star who has conducted 4-H horse, dog, and sheep projects. She regularly donates blood (every 56 days), has participated in canned food drives, prepares care packages for soldiers serving overseas, and conducts programming with foster children and foster families. Ashley is also the recipient of a $500 scholarship from Orange 4-H. She is pursuing degrees in Photograpy and Equine Sciences at Virginia Intermont College.

The Jeremiah Cooper Award, given in memory of Jeremiah's love for 4-H, the fair, and all things agriculture, was bestowed upon Noah Boston of the Goat Club.

4-H club leaders were recognized and thanked for all of their hard work this past year. Leaders will receive a large tote bag with an option for personalized embroidery. The Extension staff sincerely thank our volunteer club leaders, and we encourage club members to take a moment to thank your volunteers as well.
