Bit N' Bridle Club Reports on District Contest Achievements

On April 2nd, three members of the Bit N’ Bridle 4-H Club traveled to Ruckersville to compete in the Northern District 4-H Hippology & Horse Bowl Contest. Delaney formed a team with the Louisa County Young Riders, Charlotte formed a team with the Nokesville 4-H Club, and Kylie formed a team with Warren County.

In the Junior Hippology division, Charlotte and the Nokesville 4-H Club team placed 5th in Test and Slides, 5th in Stations, 4th in Judging, and 5th Overall, while Charlotte placed 10th in individual judging.

Also in the Junior Hippology division, Kylie placed 1st in individual Stations, while she and the Warren County team placed 6th in Test and Slides, 1st in Stations, 5th in Judging, and 3rd overall.

In the Senior Hipppology division, Delaney placed 1st in Test and slides, 2nd in Stations, and 2nd overall. She and the Louisa Young Riders placed 5th in Test and Slides, 4th in Stations, 2nd in Judging, and 4th Overall.In Senior Horse Bowl, Delaney finished as the 3rd place individual, and she and the Louisa Young Riders were the 6th place team.

In Junior Presentations, Charlotte earned a Blue Danish Ribbon for her presentation on Gerbils, and Delaney also earned a Blue Danish Ribbon in the Senior division, for her presentation on the Cleveland Bay Horse.
