Great Washington, D.C. Experience Awaits 4-H Teens

Citizenship Washington Focus is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that awaits five Virginia 4-H members this summer.  Youth will spend one week in Washington, D.C., on Capitol Hill and at the National 4-H Center, meeting with elected officials, learning how government works and meeting 4-H members from across the country.  When we talk about citizen leadership and civic engagement, this is exactly the kind of program to which we're referring.

Virginia's week will be July 7-13, 2013, but applications are due in February.  Please contact the Extension Office for more information!
