4-H Camp Counselor applications are ready for you! Are you a teen who is a positive role model and enjoys working with children ages 9-13, like to have fun and help others, and want to become better leaders and improve your skills for the future? If so, then consider applying to be a 4-H Camp Counselor at the 2013 Orange-Madison 4-H Camp at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal. Camp dates this year are June 16-20. The camp fee for camp counselors is $125, but some scholarships are available for those with financial need. Camp teen counselors must have been 14 by January 1st of 2013 and must be in ninth grade or higher.
Applications are available in the extension office, in the Main Office of OCHS, and here on the document library. The applications are due back to the extension office no later than Thursday, January 31. You must have three references that are not related to you fill out the form that is in the application and have them return it to us. You will also need to sign up for an interview time on either February 8 or February 13.
