Session 1 will be held June 21-27 at Old Dominion University. The courses will be math reasoning and computer engineering; wonders of water; rockers, ships, and the material science behind them; and mathematical patterns in nature. They will pull in groups such as teachers from throughout Virginia schools, university and college professors, educators and scientists from the Hampton Roads Sanitation District, teams of people from the NASA Langley Research Center and Newport News Shipbuilding experts, and more!
Session 2 will be held July 12-18 at Radford University. Courses there will be introduction to nanoscience; cyber security; mathematical modeling; and life sciences quest. Many of these instructors will be local teachers and college and university professors.
