Dairy Club Opens Pennsylvania Bus Trip to Other 4-H Families

The Orange and Madison 4-H Dairy Clubs have 15 spaces left for a two-day bus trip to Pennsylvania January 13-14, 2017. Seats will be filled first come, first served, and youth must provide their own chaperones in order to go. Cost is $95 per person and includes charter bus transportation, lodging, and entry fees to tour stops. Meals are not included.

The itinerary includes spending Friday at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and watching some of the dairy show that afternoon. Overnight lodging will be in Harrisburg, PA, and then Saturday features stops at Kreider Dairy (with a large, rotary parlor and drive-through freestall barn) and the Turkey Hill experience (ice cream, anyone?).

If you want to go, please call the Extension office ASAP. All fees are non-refundable and due by December 20. Note: this trip is the same day as the market steer weigh-in, so please keep that in mind when making plans.
