AgDiscovery 2017
Great Opportunity for youth ages 14-18 who are interested in Ag careers!
This 2 week program will be held at Virginia State University June 18-July 1.
Only cost to participants is transportation.
AgDiscovery is sponsored by different US Department of Agriculture programs in partnership with selected universities.
AgDiscovery is a unique opportunity for students to gain a first-hand look at the many career paths open to them in agriculture. Focus will be to demonstrate the interconnection between Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Laboratory Technology, Diagnostics and Wildlife Biology and Conservation. The student will gain knowledge and experience through lectures and demonstrations, hands-on activities, field trips, teambuilding activities and diversity workshops.
