Junior Stockman’s Contest Results

The junior team finished as the 20^th place overall team out of 49 junior age teams from across the state on Friday in the Stockman’s Contest.  

Team members included: Salaar Ali, Connor Dodson, Diesle Gilbert and Sadie Wentz.

Junior Livestock Judging Results

The junior team finished as the 2^nd place overall team out of 33 junior age teams from across the state on Saturday in the Livestock Judging Contest. They received the following honors as a team: 3^rd overall team in cattle judging, 1^st overall team in swine judging, 3^rd overall team in sheep judging and 1^st place overall team in questions.

The 2^nd place overall junior team members included: Salaar Ali, Connor Dodson, Diesle Gilbert and Sadie Wentz.

As individuals, the junior team members were recognized for the following performances (130 junior individuals competed in the contest):

• Diesle Gilbert: 3^rd Overall Junior Individual, 9^th place individual cattle, 2^nd place individual swine, 11^th place individual sheep, 25^th individual questions
• Salaar Ali: 5^th Overall Junior Individual, 12^th place individual cattle, 11^th place individual swine, 23^rd place individual sheep, 2^nd place individual questions
• Sadie Wentz: 15^th Overall Junior Individual, 14^th place individual sheep, 6^th place individual questions

Senior Livestock Judging Results

The senior team finished as the 15^th place overall team out of 30 senior age teams from across the state on Saturday in the Livestock Judging Contest. They received the following honors as a team: 12^th overall team in cattle judging, 16^th overall team in swine judging, 16^th overall team in sheep judging and 11^th place overall team in questions.

The 15^th place overall senior team members included: Roxanne Akers, Virginia Bryington, Skyler Hitt and Brice Norford. Landon Hitt also competed as a senior individual.

As individuals, the senior members were recognized for the following performances (132 senior individuals competed in the contest):

• Landon Hitt: 4^th Overall Senior Individual, 4^th place individual cattle, 17^th place individual swine, 7^th place individual sheep, 9^th place individual questions
• Roxanne Akers: 21^st Overall Senior Individual, 17^th place individual cattle
• Brice Norford: 24^th place individual cattle, 12^th place individual questions
