Youth with an interest in swine are invited to attend Youth Swine Day at Virginia Tech on February 22nd from 9am to 4 pm. Featuring a swine-only stockman's contest with knowledge questions, carcass evaluations, live animal judging, and more, this is the premiere event for 4-H members showing swine. In addition, a YQCA (Youth for the Quality Care of Animals) session will be held that will certify youth for State Fair of Virginia participation.
