The Virginia 4-H/Dominican Republic Program has two “at-large” openings available for interested high school age 4-H members to join the group from Shenandoah and Alleghany counties on the program this year. The 4-H group will travel to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, during the week of July 16-23, 2019 to conduct a 4-H Day Camp in partnership with Dominican teens, conduct Service Projects in the local villages and experience the local food and culture.
At least two Virginia 4-H members will be selected for this program based on an application and a reference letter from their 4-H agent. Spanish language skills are nice to have, but not required. Teens who have 4-H camp counselor skills are encouraged to apply. If additional openings are available, more than two Virginia 4-H’ers may be selected to participate.

To apply fill out the application, along with a reference letter from your 4-H agent. Deadline is April 26.
