We are pleased to welcome Jill Wong and Grace Cooper to our office team!
Jill is our new program support staff who will work Monday through Wednesday each week. Jill is a friendly face to greet customers, answer the phone, and provide administrative support to programming staff. She is a native of Central Virginia and has extensive experience in medical office management, plus has been a coordinator of a multi-county tobacco prevention grant. We are excited to benefit from her creative skills and desire to work in community-based programming.
Grace Cooper serves as our summer intern while a student at James Madison University. Grace grew up in the Orange 4-H program, both in clubs and camping, and she currently aspires to be an elementary educator. Grace has already been planning 4-H camp evening programs and her culminating project will be 4-H Cloverbud Camp in July. She will be leading food preparation lessons at four county childcare sites as part of the Healthy Community Action Team (HCAT) grant, and you'll see her at the county fair and 4-H TACO (Therapeutic Adventure Camp of Orange) as well.
Welcome, Jill and Grace! We are happy you're here!
